J Explorers

Share the spirit of the Stroum Jewish Community Center with your child! Together participants build, play games, learn new skills, and enjoy the great outdoors with other dadts and kids. Groups are age and gender-based, allowing participants to share similar experiences as well as enjoy quality time one-on-one.

SJCC provides the game plan and dads and kids provide the creative play. The staff liaison provides a number of functions to support the J Explorers groups, including providing suggestions and program ideas, guidance and assistance at meetings, keeping participants informed with regard to upcoming SJCC or J Explorer events and more.

The program is designed for children entering kindergarten to third grade. This program is designed to further develop the father/son/daughter relationship and instill Judaic values and the community of the SJCC. 

How often does J Explorers meet?
Groups meet monthly. Group members determine meeting nights.

Cost
$72 annually for SJCC members; $150 annually for SJCC guests.
