JewSEA and the SJCC are teaming up!
JewSea is an organization focused on providing Innovative and engaging programming focused on social opportunities for local Young Jewish Adults in their 20's and 30's. JewSEA's short term goal is to reinvigorate the affiliated and unaffiliated young adult through an emphasis on socially based volunteer led programming open to participants from all walks of Jewish life.

Seward Park Shabbat and Shul Shopping Kickoff Event

Itinierary is still tentative: Join us for our shul shopping kickoff events by enjoying a traditional sabbath weekend in Seattle's Seward Park neighborhood.

Friday Night we will go to Sephardic Bikur Cholim for services and oneg (and possibly catered dinner - otherwise we will do home hosted group dinners), and then relax and hangout late into the night at couple of locations within walking distance.

For those interested in taking full advantage of the shommer shabbas experience, we have arranged for home hosting for the evening... please denote your interest in this option will registering and paying.

On Saturday we will meet at Bikur Cholim Machzikay Hadath for Morning and Torah Services followed by a light lunch.

After lunch we will have a pair of optional discussions led Rabbi Mark Spiro, Rabbi David Fredman, (at approximately 1 and 2 p.m.), as well as time to relax, read and play games.

At 3:30 we will have our third optional discussion at Congregation Ezra Bessaroth followed by Mincha Service, Seudah Shelishit and Havdallah.

Cost for dinner will be approximately $18/person
and lunch will be approximately $10/person
