Optimal Performance Training
Mondays, 10 a.m.
Begins September
Small group training with multi-discipline focus including weight equipment, bands and balls to enhance core fitness. Personal Training Supervisor JD Green will focus on Phase 1 of the 5 phases of the OPT (optimum performance training) model  by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After finishing Phase 1, you can move on to more personal training, CrossFit, or Phase 2. 

Phase 1 – Corrective Exercise Training
Focus: Correction and Stabilization
Correct muscle imbalances
Address joint disfunctions
Understanding neuro-muscular Deficits
Understanding postural distortion patterns

Train privately, with a partner, or with a group. Hire a trainer to instruct a fitness class such as Total Body Conditioning, step, or high/low aerobics, or to set you and your buddies up with a weight-training, fat-burning fitness program. FREE Fitness Center Orientation
Meet with a certified trainer to familiarize yourself with the SJCC fitness center. You'll go over basic use of the cardio equipment and the CYBEX weight training machines. Sign up at the Fitness Center front desk or contact JDG@sjcc.org.

Individual Personal Training - SJCC Members
$60 per hour
Ten-session package: $550 ($55 per hour)
Twenty-session package: $1000 ($50 per hour)

Group Personal Training - SJCC Members
$45 per hour per person
Ten-session package: $400 ($40 per hour per person)
Twenty-session package: $760 ($38 per hour per person)

First timers special: four trainings for $150!
For first time clients or those who have not trained in more than two years. One special package per person. Must be used within three months of purchase.

Individual Personal Training - Non SJCC Members
$85 per hour
Ten-session package: $750 ($75 per hour)
Twenty-session package: $1300 ($65 per hour)

First timers special 4 for $185

All personal training packages must be used within 6 months from date of purchase.

In consideration of members who use our Fitness Center as a place to work out and get away from the day's stress, we ask that cell phones not be used in the room and that louder conversations be taken into the racquetball lobby. Personal Trainer
Qualifications: NASM CPT certified, CPR, specializing in correctional exercise and postural distortions. JD's focus it to train clients to be ready for what they will face in the real world.
