Teen + Tween Fitness

The J offers a variety of fitness programs for tweens and teens. Our Fitness Center, which features state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment, is open to kids ages 13 and above. We’ve recently launched the new Mercer Island Strength and Conditioning program which helps teen athletes stay fit and healthy and during their off-seasons. Plus, we offer personal training for tweens and teens, both individual and group sessions. Come work out with us!

Mercer Island Strength and Conditioning

This new program is designed for high school athletes between sports seasons. It focuses on ultimate athletic performance through improving flexibility, mobility, speed, agility, strength, and power, in a safe, effective way. Led by elite-level athletes with semi-professional backgrounds, the class encourages proper sports nutrition and wellness and helps athletes prevent common sports injuries.

Personal Training

Sometimes teens need an adult who isn’t a family member to inspire change in them—and our personal training department is here to help. Our inspirational trainers are just the ones to get your son or daughter off the couch and into something physical. Kids can sign up for individual sessions or get up to four friends together for group sessions. Ages 13 and up.
