Adult Classes

SJCC offers a number of swim workouts for adults ages 18 and up.

Our classes focus on stroke technique, endurance, and overall swim fitness. Classes vary from intermediate to advanced. Swimming is an excellent workout for people of all ages, with no added impact on your joints.

Adult Classes

CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard Certification Class

Sunday, June 11 | 12-5 pm
Monday, June 12 | 11 am-5 pm
Tuesday, June 13 | 11 am-5 pm

Earn your CPR, first aid, and lifeguard certification. We’ll discuss standards and practice methods that have been proven to increase a victim’s chance of survival in an emergency situation. Participants are required to purchase and read the lifeguarding/first aid/CPR treatment manual and finish the online course curriculum prior to the class. 

Masters Swim

Wednesdays/Fridays 6-7 a.m.
Sundays 5:45-6:45 p.m.
Swim workouts that focus on stroke technique, endurance, and overall swim fitness. Prerequisite: All participants must be able to swim at least 100 yards crawl stroke and have basic knowledge of back stroke and breast stroke.

Senior Splash

Mondays and Thursdays, 11:15 a.m.
This aquatic exercise class offers lots of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required.

Aquatic Sport

Mondays and Wednesdays, 9-10 a.m.
This heart-pumping workout in the pool exercises your entire body with no added impact on your joints. Intermediate to advanced.
